About Me

I am originally from Virginia Beach (Kempsville).  However, Smithfield was like a second home because my dad's family is from here.  Graduated from Longwood University then began teaching PE/Health for Isle of Wight County.  I have taught all my years at Smithfield Middle School.  My family and I are big Virginia Tech Hokie fans!!!!  I've wanted to be a PE/Health teacher since I was in 7th grade.  Love working with the middle school age students.
