Isle of Wight County Schools has been closely monitoring the weather for Friday, December 5. Our area is under a winter weather advisory, and forecasts from the National Weather Service in Wakefield indicate snow mixed with a light glaze of ice. Because these conditions are expected to affect travel through mid to late morning, IWCS will be closed on Friday for all students and staff.
