About Me

I am originally from upstate New York.  Go 'Cuse!!!!  I taught for 6 years in the Rochester area before my family and I moved to Staunton, Virginia, in 2006. I taught at Skyline Middle School in Harrisonburg for 8 years, thus explaining why my kids and I are such big JMU fans.  I have two sons and a daughter.  My oldest graduated from St. Christopher's High School in Richmond and is now in his third year at George Mason.  He is majoring in kinesiology and is wrestling.  My middle son is going into his senior year at St. Christopher's and in his 14th year of wrestling. Lastly, my daughter just started her sophomore year at Peninsula Catholic High School and plays volleyball. I started teaching PE/Health at Smithfield Middle in the fall of 2014.  I have never wanted to be anything else besides a PE/Health teacher.  I love being around kids and sports.  Go Panthers!
