In 2000, I obtained a Master of Education Degree in Guidance Counseling, also from Virginia State University. I worked as a 6th grade social studies teacher for three years in Petersburg Public Schools. I have been a school counselor in Isle of Wight County Public Schools since 2003. I was a high school school counselor for 10 years, and I have worked on the middle school level for 10 years . My goal is to provide students with exceptional support in personal, social, and academic domains to help them be college, career, and life ready. My passion is helping students spread kindness, empathy, and compassion.
